Volunteering through Proffer Ministries is based on the premise of fulfilling the Great Commission (to go into all the world and make disciples) and living out God's greatest commands (to love God with your whole being, and to love others as he has loved you) for the glory of God.
Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
-John 13:34
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ's ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, "Come back to God!"
-2 Corinthians 5:19-20

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.
A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.
All of you together are Christ's body, and each of you has a part in it.
1 Corinthians 12:7,27

Whatever your gifting or talents, we invite you to come use them!
God has purposed you for good works from the very beginning, and he has equipped you in a creative way.
Your talents, your personality, your life experience, your joys, and even your hurts and hardships, can all help someone else to see the goodness of God and know that He is for them. So come, let your light shine so others can see His goodness!

Family fun fairs
Family Fun Fairs are outreaches that seek to partner local churches, non-profits, and businesses in order to host events that strengthen and build that community and its people. This coming summer, we are once again planning to host an event in the Hanover area . This event, or Family Fun Fair as we call it, will create a fun, safe environment where families and individuals can gather, participate in free games and activities, receive a free meal, find resources from local non-profits, hear about God’s great love for them, and have opportunity to win prizes that support and build family. Our hope is to come together as a community and love people well.

This year's event will occur on June 13th, just before Father's Day, and will have a special focus of celebrating those all important men in our lives. Special activities will include a parent/child corn hole competition, rock climbing wall, and inflatable battle arena. We hope that you will join us in serving our community through this event.
