Active initiatives

MALAWI

In 2025, an initiative to train locals within Malawi for evangelistic efforts was put in motion. That initiative saw dozens of pastors and leaders trained in the practicalities and culture needed to do youth crusades and outreaches, follow up, and discipleship. As this initiative has continued, we have been able to send out dozens of eager evangelists who are collectively sharing with as many as 30,000 people a week. In all, they have shared with over 1 million people and are on track to see that number double this year. We appreciate all who have sown into this effort. Because of your support an entire generation is being impacted for Christ within Malawi.

In 2023, Proffer Ministries went to Peru for the first time, partnering with a small church in San Juan de Lurigancho called Nueva Vida. This church was hungry for God, full of the most Christ like hospitality, and eager to see people reached with the Gospel. We were able to encourage each other and show them how to expand their reach through Family Fun Fairs, conducting youth crusades and other outreach initiatives, as well as partnering with other churches in the area. Since then, we have been able to continue trips of support to Nueva Vida, and they have been able to share the Gospel with thousands more in their area. This year, we plan to buy them instruments and help them start a free music lesson ministry that will serve underprivledged kids and share the Gospel with their families.

Active Evangelists

Ed Funk
Ed Funk, along with his wife, Katherine, co-founded Proffer Ministries in 2022. Ed serves as the President of our ministry and is an active evangelist and minister of the Gospel around the world. He is passionate about seeing people come to Christ and walk in the fullness of what Jesus died to give them. Ed is ordained through Christ for All Nations and has made sharing the Gospel and helping others to do the same the focus of his endeavors. Ed has also been married for 15 years and has 6 children together with his wife

Dave Carter
David Carter is one of the newest members of our Proffer team. He first felt called to evangelism in 2020 and shortly after left his job as a college professor to attend the Christ for All Nations Evangelism Bootcamp. Since then, he has been sharing the Gospel in Africa and in Pakistan. He and his wife, Gretchen, are also active in supporting local churches and promoting discipleship in the small Northen New Mexico community where they have their home. Their desire is to see people come to Jesus and be transformed and discipled wherever God leads them. They also have three children together.

Aimable Niyonkuru
Aimable, an evangelist from Burundi and his wife Viktoria are  deeply passionate about bringing the message of salvation to people all across Africa and beyond. in 2024 Aimable trained with Christ for All Nations and now goes out preaching the Gospel, doing youth crusades, and working to see souls saved and lives transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit. Through this ministry, Aimable and Viktoria are helping to see hope come and passion for Christ ignited wherever he goes.

Cimarron Smith
Cimarron Smith is an evangelist who longs to see people understand the heart of God and know their identity in Christ. He currently resides in Orlando, Florida but travels regularly to share the Gospel around the US and abroad. One of his main areas of focus is within the country of Peru, where he ministers in churches, prisons, on the streets, and to children. He hopes to move there by next year to help start a ministry school with a focus on seeking God and training others in evangelism.

Serve the Kingdom on our upcoming mission trip to PERU

Join us on this trip for all ages as we share the love of Christ in San Juan de Lurigancho, Peru. We will be partnering with a local church, Nueva Vida, to reach the local community as we share the Gospel and pray for the sick, visit prisons and hospitals, and host outreaches that share the truth of Christ with the locals.
